There are five days to pull this together instead of three weeks, so reblogging and spreading it to more people than before is extremely important.
The idea, as it has always been, is to make sure as many people as possible can watch episodes of Sherlock as or very near to when they first premiere in the UK. Downloads and streams will not be hard to find; they will be up very quickly, and I trust that everyone uses Google to find links so they aren’t bombarded with spoilers on their Tumblr dashboards.
Watching live is a little bit trickier. First, channel hubs such as TVPC are available; those links will be in the tag prior to the airdate. Second, The iPlayer (the UK’s equivalent of Hulu or Netflix) broadcasts episodes live, but it is region locked to the UK. To pass this region barrier, you need to use an IP masking program in order to be able to watch anything on the iPlayer. Tutorials for ExpatShield (PC) and TunnelBear (Mac) are here and here. Stealthy is browser-based (Firefox or Chrome), but I have not found a tutorial for it as of yet. Please read these tutorials if you wish to watch the episode from the iPlayer.
Third, if you want to be with fellow fans, under the cut is a preliminary list of the last volunteers for streaming via LiveStream (chat option) along with the addition of three others. You can remove the cut in a reblog, but I will keep it on here for personal reasons. If there are any volunteers for streaming on Sunday, message me or add your URL in a reblog. I know of at least five other streams that weren’t on my list, so I cannot stress it enough: unless you want to keep your offer to your followers only, add to the list. There are only 50 spots per unpaid channel, and there were people already in streams as early as eight hours before the airtime. If you think you can help by streaming yourself, read this guide. EDIT: If you can’t stream yourself, but feel comfortable with letting your account be used by someone who can, message me and I’ll add you to the list
Under this URL, I will be making rounds to LiveStream channels before the airtime to check in and help out if there are any problems. Feel free to message me as well.

This blog is gonna have a sort of re-start. I haven’t posted for almost a year, and I was this close to shutting it down, but it’s my primary blog. Poo. As the new description says, I’ll be posting youtube videos, pictures, drawings, compositions, etc. This is not a reblog blog. That’s heatherhoagie.tumblr.com, which used to be lostfoundfreedom.tumblr.com.
Hopefully I’ll actually get around to posting things here.
